Problem Statement
The current advice center only provides links to tools and articles. The opportunity exists to provide actionable, timely advice to members that will help them wherever they may be in their financial journey.
Goal
To create an engaging user experience that will provide relevant and personalized advice to our members. By having our members revisit this page by at least 15% we can help drive our members to a more financially stable future.
Research
We used an internal resource to collect feedback on our concept. After we found that this was something our members actually needed, I worked with our stakeholders to collect more member insights and to get this feature prioritized in our team's roadmap.
Competitive Analysis
Next, we began a deep dive into our competitive landscape to answer questions like, "How are similar companies providing advice to their users?" or "Do users actively engage with financial advice digitally?". We collected a myriad of screen shots and spent time closely examining their capabilities.

For the public facing side, we're looking to add widgets such as this one titled "We'll Do the Math", so that users don't have to be logged in to gain an understanding of their debt, or other aspects of their financial situation.
One Last Thing
One great thing that came out of this enterprise-wide effort was the creation of our team's process map, which we checked in with almost daily.
